I don't know when Bush actually called anyone "unpatriotic" but he has certainly implied it... and he has allowed Cheney (and others in his administration) to say on several occasions that opponents of his Iraq policies as "unpatriotic." Cheney and others have used the term on several occasions. In the past presidents have had the power to quiet vice-presidents and administration workers so I think that Bush is very aware (and endorses) that behavior. It is a political tactic of using your underlings to use spiteful rhetoric while you appear above the fray.

If he did say this, then this is the first mistake he has made. I have written him three letters on this very topic. He will be out of office in a year and a half and in the mean time I will do my best to stop this. I think instead of attacking this president you need to think about the ramification that this amnesty deal will have on this country. You people are so hell bent on attacking this president but are letting your country be sold down the river to a bunch of illiterate future welfare slugs.

OUCH!! that hurts. HA HA. Please, I guess if that's the way President Bush feels then he has that right. Just because I support him, doesn't mean I have to like every decision he makes and agree with his every word. Bush has his reasons for feeling that way, and I support him for it, I don't agree with it but I support him.
And like Vegaswoman, I'd like to see some proof... From a crediable source, 2 sources actually give me one from the Right and one from the Left... Fair and Balanced.

There's a couple issues I don't agree with President Bush on. But until you can come up with a better leader, he has my support.
How's that feel, lib.
