Sure,most in my immediate family were not born in the US but we are all citizens. Naturalized Americans are just as American as those born in the US and many are more so.

Someone born to American parents on an American flagged ship not actually in American waters at the time has American nationality.

There are obviously possible methods that are always "wormed" into the system. One is getting a visa from the native country the person is from, the petition permanent residency and along the lines, citizenship. Another (very popular but getting extremely difficult) is marrying a citizen. Unless the person is in the system as a confirmed illegal, then yea its possible.

I _think_ you are talking about becoming a naturalized citizen. Many people become citizens by applying for citizenship when they move here from other countries.
it is a process. There is a test.

But just living in the US doesn't make you a citizen unless you were born in the US.

Nationality means your blood lines. Iam Italian and German , these are my bloodlines, my nationality
