i wanna know which one to watch

I'd say watch them both and decide for yourself.
For me, Deep Impact was WAAAAYYY better than Armageddon. It is one of my all time favorite movies.
Armageddon seemed cheesy and too unbelievable, but Deep Impact seemed more realistic, and has more of the "chick flick" emotional pull-on-your-heart scenes in it, which I felt made the movie so good.

I think you should watch them both- because both were good movies. But I liked Deep Impact better because it gave a perspective of how the situation would be handled if more than just the military/government knew about it (i.e the public). And Armageddon focused more on a love story with a twist.

I would have to say that Armageddon is the better of the two. I liked Deep Impact, but I thought they could have done a better job with the story line.

I preferred Deep Impact. I goes into greater detail with the characters. You see how they react to their different circumstances. Armageddon was good too, but it was more of a date movie than anything. Action, romance, and big stars.

I've seen Deep Impact and it's okay, but I've always heard that Armageddon is better..

I liked both, but I am a sci-fi nut. Armageddon had more of an emotional theme and if I was taking a date it would be to Armageddon. They are both out on video and on the pay channels. Watch both and tell me which you prefer.

if you want more action and heroics with your end-of-world scenario, Armageddon.
if you want a more cerebral approach, see Deep Impact.
i enjoyed both, but Armageddon is the one i would re-watch if i had a chance. break out the popcorn, soda--and a hankie, depending on your sensitivity.

armageddon. i like the emotion. the plot is awesome, bruce willis does it again. it has some funny moments but they are timed just right so not to mess up the mood. i love to feel like i know the characters and i did.

Armageddon!!! This movie is so amazing and i cry at the end, it's so good!!! you have to watch it!
