Yes it is a real problem, I would say it is the beginning of a end for the blue planet.
I f corrective measures are not taken that earth will be moving towards the conditions of Mars as they exist today. No ozone layer to protect surface from Ultra violet radiation of the sun, no atmosphere, no water, high temperatures day time , freezing temperatures night time, desert stunned and silent planet.
Yes this is what Mars is today and unless we stop global warming -than this will be our tomorrow.

Mr. Gore's film about global warming really has worried me. I believe him.The polar bears can't find enough large ice flows , can't get food (seals) . If the glaciers keep thawing, we'll lose a lot of fresh water, it hurts the oceans currents and temperatures which stirs up hurricanes and red tide etc. The wind in California will be worse, cause more fires, then drought , increasing our desert areas. No one can dispute this, but how much are humans contributing to this.? apparently a lot. .The U.S.A. is front & center, we've made 'ours' and now we're supposed to tell the rest of the world they can't make smog, fuel emissions, money. I think we may be doing ourselves in. For years we've watched Venice slipping under water more and with the rising waters, I will someday have beachfront property.! Sylvia Browne, the psychic medium, says she can't see beyond this century. I believe her too.!

Absolutely yes.
Careful examination of the evidence is truly frightening. Virtually all of the arguments are political and self-serving economists. There is more consensus/agreement in this area of science than one would expect to find in most any area. There are critics, but they are not the same. Also, there are many people speaking with a tone of certainly who don't really know.
I know it's popular to critcize Mr. Gore, but I think his movie is a "must-see."
We're in trouble and need to act.
