You could use a name that has the same meaning.

William means strong willed warrior

Tiergan Kella
Tiergan Louise
Tiergan Caley

Or you could just use a portion of the name like Willa or Willow.

maybe you could use the letters in it to make a name. Lilia would use a portion of William.

that's about all I can come up with. If your naming the girl after someone named William, did he have a middle name you could work with?

hmmm... William... Willow/Willo, Willi, Wilma, Willmanette (Kinda Ugly Dont You Think!) ect. but i would do Mai (May) Thats the last 3 letters Of William backwards! will IAM- Mai! I think that would be cool! Or You could do a name that means the same thing as William. William means desire so does Cupid, Chemdiya. Cupid Willi would be cute. That would be both first and middle name after him.

Good Luck! I Like Mai Cupid the Best!

Wilhelmina...Willa
If you know his middle name, maybe you could try to combine the two, or even take letters from the name William to make a different name such as:
Lilia
Lili
Mila
Lia
Milli

You could go with Wilhelmina which isn't all that great, but thankfully you can use the nickname Mina. The only other halfway-decent one I could think of is Willow.

I think some good names would be Mia, Ophelia, Lia, Lila, Milla, Millie, Lily, or Amelia.
