why do you have a big problem with people who wear fur but not people who wear leather?
could it be because you find it easier to harass wealthy old ladies than biker gangs?
i'd pay money to see one of you throw paint on the hell's angels leather jackets or the leather saddlebags on their harleys.

Interesting point, but until everyone can be vegetarian, it's not going to be PETA's agenda...why not use the leather...you can choose not to wear fur, but you have to eat...what is the point of some fancy lady wearing the skin of some animal kept only for providing some woman a luxury...if women went to these fur farms or went with a trapper and watched him take a shovel to an animal, I'm sure she would hesitate to wwear fur...I'm not a anti fur wacko, but I'm not going to support the industry...why not kill whales for the ivory then or raise bald eagles for their feathers?

Leather is obtained from the hides of animals that are slaughtered for food to begin with. Unless all the people become Vegetarians, this practice will continue. If people would develop an appetite for Rabbit, Mink, Leopard, etc there would be less bally-ho because the animals would have to be slaughtered for food anyhow. Put down that Burger and start ordering Leopard.

I bet you'd take delight in watching the Chinese skin cats and dogs ALIVE for their fur, huh?
They attach them to a fence with a short chain so they can't move and proceed to peel their skin off of them while they're alive. I'm not a PETA member or even a vegetarian, but there's no need for me to wear fur to look cool and put an animal through ungodly pain.

maybe the aren't as dedicated to there beliefs as they want us to think. after all most are young kids who would be able to outrun a old lady, they would have trouble outrunning the bike of a hells angel though.
that's not the real problem though the real problem will be the 5 or 6 other hells angels that will be with him and help beat the wimp till the cops show up.

I've got an idea...let's put your theory to the test. I've got some biker friends who have nothing better to do; why don't I just ask them to go down to one of the animal activist headquarters and have them stand around outside?
Then I'll call in and tell them there are a bunch of people outside their building wearing animal hides...

Thank you for posting this question! Why are these people not throwing blood on people who eat meat or people who wear leather shoes/jackets/skirts/pants and/or carry leather handbags. You hit the nail on the head. They will only do this to people surrounded by papparazi. What a phony group of activists they are.

Any anti-fur advocates I have known were against leather as well, and eating meat. And I have known quite a lot of them.
I'm not against it myself though.
