My friends and i are going on holidays, the choice is either the snow or the beach. It's winter but i hate the cold and i'd rather go to the beach, is there a happy medium? I love surfing and own a wetsuit so the cold is not an issue, where should we go?

Malta is an island in the middle of the Mediterranean. Consisting of 7 islands it is an ever increasing popular tourist resort due to it's tropical climate, exciting nightlife, and a history dating back thousands of years. I have been there last year and it's wonderful

Northern NSW. The beaches are great. Even in the middle of winter temperatures are in the low to mid 20s. It can get cool at night so bring a jacket but you'll have a great time. There are good spots from Coffs Harbour to the Tweed. Byron Bay is spectacular although the town is tacky, rather like Nimbin's seaside suburb. You might enjoy it, many do. Pack your sarong and your bong.

Bondi Beach is always nice :) How long can you get away for your holidays? If you guys can afford the time, why not go further up north where it's not so cold and you can enjoy great surfing up in Gold Coast or Surfer's Paradise?

Either Port Stephens or Forster, both have great beaches ideal for surfing.

Depends where you have been before, and if you dont mind going back..

You can go to Jervis bay..

Or, go north .. Byron bay..

Or better yet, skip NSW and go to Queensland!!
