Support? At 15, C cup, should I wear one? My mom gave me 2 of them, they are beautiful, but the wires dig in my breasts and hurts.

I agree with the other two answers (first two) but not Victorias Secret, I used to work there and they don't make the bras very well. They are expensive but fall apart a lot. I would try a few until you get one you like and are comfortable in. Try Target, they carry most brands. I like Vanity Fair and Maidenform. Their wires don't hurt. They shouldn't dig into you at all.

If they dig into your breasts you may not have the right size bra on. You could also try to take out the underwire from the bra.

Go and get sized at Nordstroms or JCPenney or Sears (not victoria secret, they size you wrong-personal experience!).

They are for torture, LOL
Time to get used to it, ha...sorry, it is true. Just make sure your chest size (not cup size) is the right one. Too tight of a band around your chest makes it dig in. Usually it helps to try on several to get a better fit.
But seriously, too bad the 60s are long gone when everybody was burning their bras and you might not wonder why!

They are for support and give you a nice rounded shape. If you're 15 and in a c cup already, they will give you the added support you need (you don't want droopy boobs in a couple of years) . Tell your mom they are too small for you and maybe you can exchange them. As with your clothes, if they dig into you, they are too small.

u should have started using underwires when u first needed a bra...it helps. underwires are for suport and makes it look like ur breasts dont sag and it helps it not to look so pointy.

Yes, they're for support. If the wires are digging into you, you need a bigger bra.
