i re-installed window 2000 se and my keybourd won't let me sign on to the explorer.?

Did you remove the keyboard? Check and make sure the pins are not bent on the keyboard cable. Did you hear a beep when you rebooted. The POST check should beep if the keyboard is removed. Can you go to DOS Mode? Does the keyboard work if you try to go to the BIOS setup?

unplug your keyboard...replug it....reboot.
