Almost all computers manufactured in the past few years can read a DVD. Not all can write one.

You cannot operate a DVD in a CD drive. Haven't checked the latest price but should be less than 4K.

No in fact this MAY damage the drive and/or disk.
But I have no idea what an Indian Price is.
