Because he is a sane person in a crazy world. How is this even a question that validates an answer? A scientist.?
I feel that I am a scientist. The reason for my idea into rhelm is very simple. I do not like where all research says we're going. This could be bad or good. I guess I should stop caring about having children now. I really don't want to have to beat them.

You're going to have to give us more information. Some people consider anyone who investigates anything to be a scientist, others think that people who do publishable research are scientists. That's the way I tend to go. You have have the degree, but unless you're doing original research and publishing it, you're not a scientist.

Possibly it is because you are not spending enough time rubbing his back and telling him how good looking he is...
Try giving him a big hug...when you do that, reach around and squeeze his butt real good, and tell him what a fine behind he has. Then ask him if he feels playful tonight??? Maybe he will put down his technical publications and spend some quality time with you then...

Cause it's fun to tinker with things. If he enjoys it, just let him enjoy it. At least his hobby isn't bad or harmful.
