what to do with a pregnant guppy?

ok my guppys pregnant, and she looks like shes about to pop, i no that when she has the fry she may eat them, well i really dont want to set up a whole new tank for her any everything, so what should i do?

if i get some like java moss, will that protect the fry?

you can sell guppy fry? i thought you had to let them mature first

Guppy fry are more resilient than you think. They hide in gravel, by plants,and under things. I wouldn't worry to much. Before you know it they will be taking over your tank and you'll need to get rid of some.

It depends, if you have a male they will both oddly enough eat the guppy fry after a while, or you could separate the fry from the parents and then just sell them.

Just provide plenty of plants so the fry can hide, you will loose some any way. Eventually you will have to get another tank pr give the fry away when they are old enough! Good luck!

Buy a plastic or net breeder. Follow the instructions and put the female in it. When she gives birth, the fry will fall into the slotted section so she can't eat it. Then you can remove the female and feed the fry until they mature.

well one of my female guppies just had a batch. i got a breeder net and caught the fry and put them in the net. Once big enough they may go into my bigger tank. Or i'll give em away to friends.

of course you feed her, until you want to starve her to dying you will see besides the fact that, that she would be able to the two consume much less or not something purely until now she provides delivery nevertheless wish that facilitates sturdy success EB
