It all depends on the agreement you signed with them, you will need to read it carefully because as another answer indicates you may end up paying two companies a commision if you re-list your property. I agree you should contact the Broker and express your concern, best of luck!

Im not sure this answers your question exactly. But it sounds like you have an issue with your real estate agent. Most contracts you can cancel at any time, but if you go with a new agent you might have to pay the first one a commission. Read it carefully.
I would suggest calling the real estate agents broker and explain why you are not happy. They may offer a new agent from their office or just release you from the contract. Its the broker not the agent that makes that decision. Try and let the broker handle the situation internally if he/she can.

Usually it is up to the broker as to whether you will be charged a fee or even allowed to get out of a contract.

If you signed a contract and tehn want to get out of it, they can and probably will charge you a fee to let you out of it. Read the contract.

most agreements are binding and carry cost .... reread your form and see if charge is required at canceling
