You must be young, slim and attractive.
I have met my soul mate but I am overweight, middle aged and walk with a stick. Men seem to overlook me completely.

Because when you finally meet someone you relax and start to radiate more self confidence, but not in a stuck up way. So you actually become more attractive than you were before.
Because people are attracted to the kind of self confidence that makes them feel relaxed and confident too when they are around you.
