the nomination? Frank Keating was a great Governor and led his state and the nation during a diffucult time with the Murrah Bldg bombing. He is a former member of the FBI. He is very articulate and smart and a no-nonsense person. .

I liked Frank Keating a lot, too -- or at least what I saw of him. I don't live in Oklahoma.

But I agree with the others. Giuliani will need an anchorman -- someone with impact already like Romney or my own personal favorite (so far) Fred Thompson.

Giuliani isn't conservative enough for a large section of the Republican base, but we have the recent history in California of Arnold Schwarzenegger being a liberal Republican. He garnered enough votes to win the recall AND the reelection, and California (sigh) is a strong Democrat state (with members of Congress grandfathered in) (sigh again).

So if that's the way the country's leaning, Rudy might be the answer. Who knows?

Rudy is Catholic, the Republican party will never give him the ticket to run.
Watch and see.

Just because these guys were running an area of the country when it got bombed, doesn't qualify them to lead the country.
All that does is qualify them for clean up.
AND I LIKE RUDY.
He did a lot for NYC.

If he does win the nomination he needs to pick a well known conservative to help energize the base.

Let's hope things don't get that far. Most of us are hoping Giuliani will drop out before then.
