This bill will pass whether we as citizens like it or not. We all have to accept that when they give these illegals the 24 hour background test to get the probationary card, after a couple of months that card will lead to citizenship not a z visa. I also heard that the economy is dropping so Bush is finding ways and means to patch it up by letting these illegals pay fines for their citizenship.

I hope we come up with the numbers to defeat the bill, but c'mon this bill is endorsed by W...what's wrong with this picture???
And of course when we see how idiotic this immigration bill is...how can we wonder that W supports it...
P.S. What will be the result of nearly 12 million Mexicans suddenly getting the right to vote in this country???
And what a slap in the face to those immigrants who have followed the rules and waited their turn to become citizens of this country.

The state department somehow had enough money to beef up embassy security in Barbados with a marine detachment at the time the attack in Libya happened. Barbados.. where the worst threat is falling coconuts and drunk tourists. They had the money to boost security someplace where it was actually needed if they actually cared about it. Just another failed attempt by a mindless liberal to defend Obama's lies.

All we need is 40 Senators to support the fillibuster DeMint says he is going to try. It takes 60 Senators to vote for cloture and bring the bill to a vote.

I agree. And the most important thing that Americans can do is email or call their representatives and tell them how they truely feel about this bill and urge them to vote no.
And for the knucklehead who said the Bushie could veto the bill, HEY DUMMY, its the Kennedy-Bush Immigration Reform Bill. If it gets to Bush, he WILL approve it, and there is no question about that.

The outcome of the bill depends on the numbers game. The Democrats had not done anything to overturn the Republican decisions.

Liberals are the sob story kings. Whether the sob story is true or not, they're the ones who want to "give", that makes them more powerful over people! They're the ones who started the food stamp program (Lyndon B Johnson), and that is control. Tell the poor "you don't have to work. We'll take care of you," gives them more control. They call it Socialism, and that is nothing that America EVER stood for.
