I have found many differences, but no similarities.

Surprsing!. Whether communism or capitalism... both wants Power. Power is the most common similarities. Secondly it is applicable for human beings (Brainy) only. Third similarity is that of Hatred.(you can say Hate..Red). Communists hate Capitalists and Capitalists hate Communists. Still one more
both Communism and Capitalism starts with letter 'C'. May be many more similarities. One more similarity is that under both "Isms"... Humanism is forgotten resulting restlessness.
Here I stop or else more may follow.

The only similarity I can think of would be that they are both engineered to help the people. Communism provides many services to the people and tries to keep people equal and rid social classes. Capitalism is all about a strong economy which in turn provides more jobs, less of a need to tax the people, and keeps inflation and unemployment low.

They both are theories about industrial economies. It is ironic that communism gained control in agriculture nations, and so instituted collectivization of agriculture to make the economy fit the theoretical model, with disastrous results.

I belive you could say they are opposites. Communism is the attempt to equaly disperse capital, whereas capitalism is more about survival of the fittest.
