Depends on what the problem is but most of the time Geek Squad takes a lot of money. I had one of my computer repaired by Carbonfrost. They usually are a lot cheaper when compared to any one out there. Send a email to Carbonfrost Systems detailing what the problem is and they will give you a good quote.
Their support email is support@carbonfrost.com
I am putting their website below too since they have numbers and other things on it.

No fee for a decision yet your call will final approximately 3 seconds as quickly as they locate out which you're in basic terms a sixteen year previous without money. they are not a charity. Why ought to your mothers and fathers only fork over money? maximum computing gadget issues are no longer hardware appropriate besides and Geek squad is mostly a hardware appropriate outfit yet do provider utility they have decrease than settlement. Ask considered one of your persons who's a working laptop or computing gadget nerd for help. maximum sixteen year olds know as much as multiple the persons at Geek Squad besides.

Alot, but they generally do a good job and they back up their work with a guarantee. MOST issues are not hardware issues, but mostly bad software on the system. All of us would be happy to help you diagnose. Then if it is a hardware issue, you could pay geek or firedog to do the install. MANY itmes can actually be done by even beginning users. Let us know, we'll help you

If you could outline you problems in detail, perhaps someone here can help you. If it is because of popups and viruses, try the following:
Firstly update and run your anti-virus product. You can also run a free online scan as well as some malware can actually corrupt or disable your resident security products. Here are a few online scans you can run:
Trend - http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
Panda - http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/ActiveScan.htm
Norton - http://security.symantec.com/sscv6/default.asp?langid=ie&venid=sym
Second download, update and run scans using the following products:
SuperAntispyware
http://superantispyware.com/
Spybot S&D (free version requires manual updating)
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/
AVG AntiSpyware
http://free.grisoft.com/doc/20/lng/us/tpl/v5
Adaware from Lavasoft (free version requires automatic updating)
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/products/ad-aware_se_personal.php
(These programs can be run in Safe Mode after downloading and updating)
Third, after cleaning your system, disable System Restore, reboot and re-enable System Restore when you log back on. This will clear the malware that may still be lurking in System Restore, which could be reinstalled should you need to rollback at some point. Additionally, a reboot may be required to complete the malware removal process.
Lastly, you may also want to install the following tool. It is free and requires you to check for and enable updates manually once a week or so. It uses no system resources.
SpywareBlaster (inoculates, not a spyware removal tool)
