My wife and I have been married for 10 years. Every so often, while I am with her I notice her making prolonged eye contact with other men. She usually accompanies this with a smile. I must make it clear that this is not just a friendly smile as occurs throughout all of our days. I am talking about the kind of prolonged eye contact and smile that clearly indicates that there is something more going on. She always denies doing this and then claims to not even remember seeing anyone that she might have "noticed". In one instance, she was making eyes at a guy across the room at our kids band concert. I sat there watching her look at him and him look back, them lock eyes and smile and the cycle continued probably a dozen times. It turns out she knew this guy from work and she talked to him afterwards for about 15 minutes. She completely denied looking at him during the program. I feel very bad, it makes me wonder if my wife is looking to dump me.

Be upfront and honest about it and tell her that even though you are aware that she knows other people from work, etc., it is just not proper for a married women to stare at another man and smile (I'd take her picture doing it if she persists on denying it as she may not realize the extend of the thing!) I would ask her how she would feel if she saw you do that with other women... and then stop and talk with them for a quarter of an hour? Some women are almost unaware of doing it as it might be a life long habit. If so, no! it doesn't mean that she's looking to break up her family! Just in case though, I'd ask her if she's still happy with the marriage and or if there's anything you might be doing that irritates her. I'd put that out of the way first... before speaking of the problem you face! See if she has anything that she'd like you to work on if anything at all is truly upsetting her (but I somehow doubt it!) as you seem to love her very much. She might need you to pay more attention to her! Find out the best way you can and take it from there...

She is doing it. My wife does that sometimes too. Tap her on the shoulder and distract her with something. Make it up if you have too. Control the situation. It may be a habit or some flirting on her part. It does not matter, she needs to respect you. Make it happen in a round about way. Act with intelligence and get her to knock it off. Be prepare if she does something stupid, like "My feeling have change." This is a cop-out to check out the grass on the other side. You probably won't be able to stop her but let her know that is shi*. Good Luck

The writing is on the wall sir, wake up, tell her to make eyes at you and something good just might happen due to this. If she's denies this little eye thing is going on she has something to hide from you, keep your eye wide open.

I hate to say this, but it sounds like she is cheating on you with this guy from work. I can't explain what she might be doing with the other people. I suggest hiring a private investigator to follow up on your suspicions. I'm sorry that this is happening to you. I wish you the best of luck!

she looked at this guy from work that much and smiled and so did he, sounds like an affair to me..or one about to happen..be worried..very worried. you need to talk more deeply with her, because you're marriage is headed down a dangerous road. Maybe she is missing some attention from you and is getting it elsewhere, maybe the problems can be fixed, but you need to do something and do it soon before you loose your wife.

You wife knows exactly what she is doing. She 's a woman who enjoys the thrill of the chase. For some reason, it is important for her to be attractive to other men, and she enjoys the thrill of giving them the " come on" to see if they will also respond..... which she clearly wants them to do. She has a need to be desirable to other men. That doesn't mean she will dump you, but it does mean she has has self esteem issues.

Sounds like it is time to have a serious discussion about the state of your marriage. Ask her if she is satisfied or if she would like to change her marriage status. Pay close attention to what she is not saying, watch her eyes and facial expressions. Urge her to be straight up truthful . Best Wishes !!

maybe she is fixated with feeling attractive to other men... some women can be complimented EVERY day by their husband and feel nothing, but when a stranger smiles, winks or makes some comment, it is like she has just had an orgasm!!! :D
just let her carry on... it probably boosts her ego... and gets her hot... and just maybe, you'll get the resultant effects of that, in bed... ;)

If it really bothers you then you do it back to her. Stare at another woman and smile and see what she Say's. When she starts naggin, ask her how she felt when she saw you looking at another woman. Tell her that's the same way you feel when she looks at other men.
I never look at another man when I am with my husband or when I am by myself. I am happily married and I love my husband.

It sounds like you 2 have different ideas of what flirting is.
Better make it clear to her what you consider cheating, before you're raising another mans kid.
