as nicknames some of them are ok. as real names. not really. music is o-kay. melody is better. i know someone named america but its pronounced Aa-mur-reeka. michigan is not okay as a nickname or a real name. there are better states to be named after. cookie and candy r pretty unoriginal. i think the list is pretty mediocre and u can come up with better.

If you are trying to name a baby, please don't choose cookie or candy, or music ..... unless you want her to be a stripper.
Michigan I don't care for.
But America would be cute for a lil girl, and another alternative is Americus. It came from the movie "Where the heart is."
and, I like Novalee too. (also from that movie)
