Best way to pay bills online is from one central location. See if your bank has free online bill pay. It is much easier than going to each company's site and paying there.

Most banks have an on-line bill payment option. Be sure to check the terms and allow enough time. If whoever you are paying does not accept electronic payments form your bank, the bank may actually MAIL a check.
Many companies you are paying allow you to make on-line payments thru their websites. This method allows you to be certain when the payment will credit to your account, but some require the payment to be scheduled a few days before it posts.
There are several on-line bill payment services. Yahoo has one available. As with banks, these services MAY send actual checks in the mail in some cases.
