To most Africans, the only thing that they care about is weather or not they will be safe that day, and weather or not they will have something to eat.

I would imagine Robert Mugabe is quite fond of Tony, Tone seems quite happy for him to carry on destroying Zimbabwe, bet if there was oil involved we would see a different story. His so called successful intervention in Sierra Leone is not all its cracked up to be and cracked is the operative word here. That poor country is sliding towards anarchy yet again and where will Blair be? off to the u.s.a. to make his fortune and to hell with any mess he leaves behind. I hope the B****rd develops a conscience and never gets another nights sleep, won't be holding my breathe on that one. The massive ego of the man is beyond belief.
Kenya is not exactly a good example, massive corruption means that most aid does not get anywhere near those who need it most.

Mojo/Voice thanks in advance for the "bad answer"

Most people in Africa would see him as a force for good. Except Robert Mugabe maybe.

His intervention in Sierra Leone - when the world community was wringing its hands in despair and considering getting out - ended a vicious war, brought peace and stability and, maybe soon, democracy.

Writing off interest payments of debts has also had a positive effect. The was a report on radio 4 last week about, I think, Kenya, where the Government has been able to divert the money it used to spend on serving debt into building schools in rural areas.

You are a comedian ! Blair and sincere in the same sentence. Had you considered buying a dictionary ? You might find disingenuous, dissembling and deceitful nearer in meaning.

I think Blair has a split personality.
He genuinely believe in some of the things he does and says.
But the other side of him can only see Tony and what is best for Tony.

blairs only interest is his legacy,of which he is obsessed.
He has run his own country into the ground by avoiding confrontations ,surrendering to the IRA and panderring to every focus group..
Yet he struts the world stage as though he has made some difference somehow.
he so much wanted to make an impact as mrs thatcher did, unfortunately for him he has no credibility,he will fade into oblivion

Blair is insincere in every thing he does, he is mainly interested in his own ego and how he is perceived on the world stage

Has it not even now become obvious to most people that Bliar cares only for himself and his personal enrichment.
