Why does it seem like life has tied my hands...in almost every way? What the he** is going on?

I notice you used the word 'seem'. 'Seem' means that something appears to be true but you're not sure.

I think there is a little bit of luck to be considered but that, generally, perception is all.

You say you feel your hands are tied in almost every way. I suggest you re-examine your goals and your expectations. In modern life, it is expected that everyone can reach their highest goals. Sheer logic should demonstrate that this is not possible. In modern life, everyone is seen as either a winner or a loser. What utter nonsense - there is no black & white only shades of grey.

Without more info, I cannot be more specific but the buddhists say "No self, no problem". If you concern yourself more with simple pleasures and happiness and less with status and money you may find that your hands are no longer tied. You may find yourself totally free for the very first time since you were a child.

Sounds like your being pushed to your limits. I don't know if you have faith or not but it may be worth asking. I think if you come up against a brick wall every way you turn your obviously not going the right way that's meant for you. Perhaps ask for guidance or help to make the right decision or give you a sign that lets you know what direction your supposed to go. Truthfully...... life and all that goes along with it is cr.p. You have 1 happy day and 10 sad ones to counteract it. I have no answers for this i can only give you my opinion based on my experience. I hope this helps even if just a tiny bit. I have recently (for about the past 3 years) had a similar pattern. I feel like I was not on track, you know? I feel like I was not doing the things that would truly be in my best interest. I was being productive, a good member of society, but everything was soooo difficult all of the time. I started to let go of material concerns (I still pay my bills, lol). I am getting in touch with what I am really wanting to do, aside from what others expect me to do. Life has been getting a bit better, I think that is because I am letting it :). I am still afraid sometimes that if things start going good that I will pay for it later with a string of bad events, but that is just fear. We cannot be free if we are always living in fear. Hope this rambling has helped, listen to yourself. ;)

"Life" does not tie our hands....we do that to ourselves by the choices we make every day. I would suggest you make better, more informed and thought-out decisions that will benefit you in the future. And forget about the ones that will provide short-term gratification....they aren't worth the effort.

same here. cannot get my ideas in good form or where they will do the most good. i think they would be laughed at anway and there are very few of them anyway. two of which could be anyone's. world wide citizenship. no loss of current one. three religions symbolic combo people will laugh at also want it at least tried out involves cross,Star of David,globe, islamic crescent off flag or national flag green with crescent. like to add female element as well rose perhaps in centre of star or maybe Silver Dust Plant.also known as Dusty Miller. with love in the mist
