How did some people manage to get off the island and not all?

Terri..cant be bothered to have to watch it. I only watched the first few episodes on a rented dvd as my hubby thought we would enjoy it but really it irritated me. Obviously im asking what happens but thats coz i hate not knowing. I have never watched the 24 series at all!! but maybe i will catch it and become addicted, it happened with Buffy(became a fan when i watched the last episode of season 5)and caught on late to Desperate Housewives!!

first of all, you need to keep watching it, it just gets better and better. The korean couple, not japanese, could speak english (at least the girl, Sun, could) and the husband, Jin, is learning. The dog is still alive, as far as I know. Michael and Walt left the island by granting of the Others, but betrayed Kate, Jack, Hurley, and Sawyer. And do you mean fused?

Nobody has gotten off it yet but it looks af if they were about to be rescued in the season finale, in that episode instead of the usual flashes to the past we were shown flashes to the future where jack is having trouble re-adjustin to life off the island... the situation between him & kate is very tense & he is tryin to get back onto the island!!!

jack told kate he loves her
the dog mmmm i think so he walt and his dad got off the island
sun could speak english but jin could not suns teaching him and suns pregnant
and ended this serie s with what looks like they got off the island
