and its not working it says:

what does that mean ? what can i do to make it work?

un-install firefox completely, remove it from the registry and re-install it! ive provided a link to the latest firefox available

Sounds as though it got corrupted in the download of the upgrade. I had the same upgrade and it worked fine.
Probably the only way to fix it is to download firefox again and re install it (dont uninstall the old version). That should keep all your bookmarks etc.

Uninstall it and then use Infernal explorer to download the set-up file from Mozilla.org so you can do a clean re-install. Bookmarks should be retained as they are in a separate profile folder

Uninstall firefox. Reboot your pc and then install it again
