if only the team is going, how many are on the team? are the people that want to go coming from the school and taking the bus? how do you know that the people that want to go are acutally going to go.
is that the trick answer, or is that me wanting more specifics?

This is only a trick question if some of the people take alternate forms of transportation. You teacher would have to be retarded to present this as a trick question.
426/65=6.55 but you can't split a bus into fractions, so 7 buses.

No basketball team including coachins staff and assistants has 65 people on it, so the school will only take 1 bus to get to the game. The question says "426 people want to go to the game"; that's great, but it's not the school's responsibility to get them there! Only the people who HAVE to be there can ride on the school bus.
