Can you give me examples of what things are right in one culture, group, ethnicity, nation etc.. and wrong in another.
For example I saw a documentary where in one country men would kidnap women to marry them, sometimes the women didnt even know the guy. That would not be acceptable in the U.S. and probably most parts of the world.

We found in Papua New Guinea, that giving a straight answer is not valued. Instead, people value not shaming the person you are speaking to. Suppose I ask you to come to my house on Friday to help me. You would have to say yes. Maybe you had plans to go another place and would not be able to come. Nevertheless, you have to say yes. This answer will make me happy, will communicate that the other person would like to help me (if he could) and will not embarrass me. It is assumed that I should have known the guy had other plans, and he'd be correcting me if he reminded me he'd be gone, because then I'd look and feel stupid because I didn't remember. To Americans, it looks like the fellow lied to me! To PNGn's it seems I was rude to ask him to come when he obviously was not able to come. Depends upon valuing straight communication or valuing the stability of the relationship.

Each culture, race, religion and many other items make up these examples as they go along. In many cases it was, or is, because of where they live or their religion at the time. As time goes on many of these cultures are changed due to others entering their area and soon die off.

If someone moves to another culture, i.e. US they must learn to live by the US culture. But unfortunately they want to change those around them and that is where the trouble begins. Thus, they group together in order to continue their "old" way of life. But sooner or later that to will pass in time.
