Okay, so everything in the car turns on, but when I put the key in to turn the car on, all it does it make a clicking sound. The battery, spark plugs and fuses have all been checked. Car was working fine last week, came back from vacation and now I can't drive it. Any help you can provide would be Super!

The battery could be bad. Take it to Autozone and they will test it for free.

Sounds like the Alternator, check that out, Mercedes has a great warranty so if your car is less then 3 yrs old it's most likely covered under the warranty.

When the Alternator goes, that's exactly what it does, it just clicks.

i have one or two answers as i have been driving mercedes for many years, ist try turn key to start, turn all the way off, try this several times as it could be the starter has a hot spot and but doing this you will get it off that bad spot, 2nd move you gear shift lever from nuetral to part a few times and see if that works, also try to start can in neutral. the swich on the trans . may not be making contact..

You can try to jump start it, but after a few days it may have some corrosion, depending on your area (if you have a lot of satwater humidity). If you have already tried, and it wouldn't start, check the connections on your starter, batery, and solenoid (I think the mercedes are like ford, solenoid separate from starter).

Probably a computer problem. Take it to a shop! Have it towed.

Dirty battery terminals or loose battery terminals.
