No I do not. He made a mistake he apologized , his apology was accepted. A suspension would of been more appropriate for this situation. Not the media circus and public crucifixion he got.
I can't believe that it's only been a month or so and Rush Limbaugh is playing " Barack the Magic ***** " with no consequences what so ever. That is far more egregious and insulting.
As far as the Sharpton , Jackson and the Hip Hop Hypocrisy that is beyond ridiculous

No. The Constitiution doesn't say a thing about hurt feelings. People need to learn to ignore things. He didn't slander anyone, and he didn't libel anyone. People should be less sensitive.

Also, there is a huge double standard in what can be said in this country. We should always champion equality.

Only thing Imus is guilty of is making a bad joke on a slow news day.

Best part, is this crusade to crucify him publicly, has brought him name recognition. Before, no one even knew who the no-talent hack was. Now, everyone does.

Great job, Sharpton!

No, we all make mistakes, and he is a good person. He has done a lot of good for many people. What kind of society do we live in if we no longer forgive and forget mistakes????
In this country there is a major double slandered as far as racial comments are concerned. Because Imus is a white man and the things he said we about African Americans he was fired. If he was African American, then no one would have cared, including the basketball players. I guess white people have to be very "careful" about what they say now.

Is it honest to Imus probable no longer, regardless of the undeniable fact that CBS is a huge business enterprise it is in organisation like a number of different organisation, to make a income. If advertisers are pulling out, there is not any way they are going to generate any sales in the process his time slot. for those that ***** approximately black human beings calling white human beings crackers and such, end paying for rap albums and Chris Rock comedy Dvd's. And for those that blame the liberals for this, wake the hell up. it is no longer concerning the liberals caving to J.J and Sharpton, it is the large companies that are fearing the destructive backlash. it is why they are pulling out as sponsers of the tutor.

No, did they fire Jesse Jackson for spiting in white people's food? Did they fire, or get rid of Sharpton for his "real religion" comment? no, the double standard is pathetic, When parents came out in the late 80's saying that the language in rap was degrading, and filthy it was claimed, that it was "free speech" "art" that to even label the Cd's as mature material was "sensor ship" now when a white man say the exact same thing that rap singer have been saying for over two decades, then it is inappropriate

Yes, totally fair. He said something that made people very hurt and angry. And yes, other public figures have made similar statements, but did not cause such an outcry. You play the hand life deals you. With shock jocks and other public figures, this kind of risk is always there when you start to shoot off at the mouth.

No, he shouldn't have been fired. Nothing he said was worse than Rosie O'Donnell saying Hello. Freedom of Speech is dying quickly, Folks, maybe using our second Amendment right will help to fix that. The right to bare arms. I'm fed up!

No, because it was a joke, and he apologized and admitted he went too far.

Also, Rush Limbaugh is still on after his "Barrack the Magic *****" shtick, which does not seem 'fair and balanced.'

NO. I feel he made a heartfelt apology and it was accepted. All that episode pointed out is that Black Preachers are bigots when they called for firing him and not all the rappers who say much worse.
