About 99% accurate after your missed period.

If an at home pregnancy test comes up negative it can definately be wrong. There might not be enough of the pregnancy hormone in the system to detect a pregnancy. If the test comes up positive it is not wrong. When I took my pregnancy test I flipped out because it came up positive. I thought for sure there was a mistake so I called Planned Parenthood. They told me if it's positive you are pregnant and that there's no way it's wrong. If it's a blood test whatever the result is it's right.

Depending on the test and when you tested. Some women will get negatives for a few days after a missed period, others will get positives a few days before. The best time to test is when you first wake up. Also each test has a differnt sesitivity at which it picks up HCG hormones and give a positive. And if the test says positive make sure you read it within the timeframe and that the line showing pregnant is not gray (gray lines are usually evap lines and not a positive, a blue or pink line is a positive)

If the pregnancy test reads positive in any shade (usually bright pink), you are the winner (so to speak). However, there are hormone pills, that when taken, can mess up a testing and give you a possitive reading when you may not be. So, if you think you are pregnant and the test reads possitive, get to a dr. to find out for sure.
Good luck with all of that.

Very accurate............if it's positive, there is not much of a chance that it's wrong......but there is a chance that a negative could be wrong. If it comes out negative....but you still think your preg, then wait a few days and take another one. You can always go to the doctor and do a test there.

The accurany depends on when, and how, you take the test. One thing I did learn, was it's pretty impossible to get a false positive. If it shows up positive, congrats, pretty much. There are chances of false negatives, especially if it's too early to tell. If you have any doubts about the results, go to the doctor.
