okay heres my problem. i bought a dell inspiron E1505 and it came with a wireless adapter. yesterday i got the computer and i turned it on and tried connecting to my wireless network. but then it just doesnt connect , its always saying "it could not connect" and they are givin me 2 options : diagnose the problem or try again. diagnosing doesnt work. ive spoke to 10 dell technicians today and all of them are just changing settings in my computer and nothing isnt working. one guy told me to open my laptop and reset the wireless adapter. has any1 ever had this problem b4? if u did please tell me how can i fix it. and should i reset the wireless adapter??

MOST of the time wireless issues are with the router, not the wifi adapter. Power cycle your whole network. Hook directly to the router and see if you hook up that way, that will narow down modem/router vs wireless.Take your puter to a coffee shop and see if you hook up. That will narrow down if its your puter or the router. Go into connections advanced and make sure youre not going through a proxy. Uninstall any web "helpers" (really hurters), any more than one tool bar and any connectivity manager or browser manager. Try ping a site by name. Then try by address, that would point to your DNS server on your isp. The intel might be fighting against the dell wifi card. Try with each. Reset tcp/ip and winsock. They will help you through it.
