my windows vista computer that i just got over heats. its annoying me and its a desktop, is it bad or is it broken? i spent 1300 on this thing! its an hp pavilion slimline, and please dont gimme answers saying that i shuda went with another company or that i shuda got a laptop or w/e. Just solve my problem and question please.

If you just got it, then it should still be under warranty. Contact the manufacturer or take it to the store you got it at to find out what your service options are.

Could be several things. It could need a cleaning. The fan could be defective. It could be situated in an area with insufficient airflow.
