What happens if you have a bunch of money...?

and you take your family out for dinner and then pay for it...but then the waiters tell you your money doesn't fly because it's counterfeit? What happens? Do the waiters give you a free meal, arrest you, or track down the money and arrest the person who passed it on?

If you have tendered counterfeit money I would imagine the restaurant would call the police.
