If you have it done on the NHS, then it is free. Speak to your GP and he'll recommend you to go to hospital to have a new testicle implanted.

It may well be worth getting it checked out properly first as some people are born with an undescended testicle. This means the testicle is there it is just that it is tucked up in the groin and needs a small operation to allow it to drop down. Unless you had a reason to have one removed at some time I really would get it checked out first. It would be most unusual to have just one testicle, I mean there is not another one there higher up. Worth checking out first.

Why do you need an artificial one? Doesn't the other one work fine? If its a cosmetic thing, you would have to pay private. The whole point of the NHS is that it is free. They will do it if they feel the need is great (i.e, you would have to show why having only one testicle is affecting you badly psychologically). Go to your GP and see what he says - he might refer you to have it done. Would imagine the wait is a while though.
I wouldn't mind if my guy had one testicle as long as it was firing OK!

When we are in the womb means in the uterus of our mother than at that time our testicle are inside the abdomen and at the time of delivery it comes down by migrating from the back in to the specially made scrotum bag between the thigh! This is because it has to manufacture sperms and not ovum which require heat so the ovary in woman is inside the abdomen and testicles are brought out side the abdomen !!But is you case this bringing down on one side is non progressive so that 2nd testicle is missing some where on its path to come down ! IT IS CALLED ECTOPIC TESTIS OR UN DESCENDED TESTIS AND THAT CAN BE BROUGHT DOWN TO SCROTUM BAG BY SURGERY FOR BETTER FUNCTIONING OF IT ! If you do not go for operation than it will atrophy and may not produce sperm! You have to work with one testicles ! There is no any operation is being done any where in the world for transplantation of testicles OK ! If satisfied give me full best answer !Always YouRsmE

Not one of my partners has ever complained about me only having one testicle, if they did they wouuldn't be my partner for long, having any kind of surgery could lead to complications, if you are very depressed it may be wise to talk to someone first, and by the way, I have a 13 year old daughter, try not to worry.

You should be very careful who does the operation!
I needed a new testicle but the surgeon couldn`t find one so, being a man of action, he inserted a pickled onion in my scrotum - without telling me - and sewed it up.
Problem was, every time I got an erection I didn`t want a woman I craved for a cheese sandwich.
That`s how I discovered what had happened.

two things: 1) it would be damn-near impossible to make an artificial testicle and 2) as far as i am aware a human can go on as normal with only one. i may be wrong..........

The NHS should surely be free?
If not you may have to go to a cosmetic surgery company who will have prices on their websites I expect.
