My little cousin is 12,but she's already planning her Sweet Sixteen. She is so adorable! She wants to know approximately how much it would cost to get a semi-famous band to play at her Sweet Sixteen. She would like someone like Aly & AJ,someone like them, but it would be in 4 years so it probably wouldn't be them,as they would be too old and she would have a different favourite band by the time she would turn 16.So.Any ideas on how much it would cost?

We book entertainers for our state and regional events/conferences. Typically, for a private event on the weekend, you are looking at $40k plus entertainer's travel expenses. For a more local or regional talent you can usually get them for around $1,000 - 15,000. If you are in the right location (CA of NY) sometimes the bigger entertainers charge less because it is not a significant investment of time to do your event.

It would be in the thousands and her parents might have a different point of view about paying all that money for a live band ,but then again if her parents are so rich she should just ask them to start planing for her sweet sixteen party now, because something that big is not done overnight
Good luck and Happy Birthday in four years and I hope I get an invite

yeah its possible, but maybe you need lawyers etc to get HOLD Of this Person and approach him.
It Will Definitely be Under 50k, But the most important thing is the previous thing i said, its kinda hard to find him.
It will be around.. 15-20k?
Oh, And For Aly & AJ, That Would Cost Alot More, Because they Are Signed with Disney, And Disney Is WHOOOP Expensive. Probably.. 45k?
Maybe less If he's a nice guy.
You'll have to ask him ;)

Contact Van Halen's management to inquire. New bassist Wolfgang Van Halen, Eddie's son, and the rest probably could use the gig. Remember at the end of "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" where it said that Jeff Spicoli (Sean Penn) used all the reward money from saving Brooke Shields from drowning and hired Van Halen to play a party? Yes, that was made up, but it is STILL funny to me.

Thousands and thousands of dollars, seriously.
****************
12 year olds rarely have a concept of money. I think that she is better off letting her parents decide what kind of party she should have and how much they are willing to spend.
50K! That's a lot of money for a wedding, nonetheless a birthday party, no matter how old she is turning. My wedding, including booking the honeymoon was about 12-13K. 50K for a sweet 16, outrageous.

A little too soon to planning a sweet 16. Trying to grow up too fast!!! Look, when I was 12 I couldn't wait to be 16, so I could drive, then when i was 16 couldn't wait to be 18 so I could vote and call myself a man, when I turned 18, couldn't wait to be 21 so I could drink and go to bars, when I turned 22, I wished I was 12 again!!!!! My advice, tell her to slow down, age comes too fast, just enjoy being a kid!!!!!!

First you have to think of the cost of the guy you are going to have to hire to bring Jim back from the dead. You could just get all your friends together and have a huge suicide party on your birthday, ask him in person. :)
