Does anybody know what the plastic tool inside a Vauxhall Astra's fuel filler door is?

It's a strange shaped plastic tool on the hinge of the fuel filler door on both the Mk4 and Mk5.
Can't see any mention in the handbook of either Astra.

Only had a look on diesels... may be there on petrols too.

Any ideas anyone?

Prop tool for filler nozzle handle?

It's used to pry open your wallet so you can pay for your fuel.
