when I play a vidio clip all I see is green in the Yahoo play box but can hear the audio it also almost freezes my system with 100% cpu usage I have a intel centrino moblie 750 1.86GZ processor and a 100gigs of hard drive on my toshiba satillite m 55 329 I have no other issues with other sites IE realplayer

It could be that you're missing the correct video codec or plug-in.

You are using either a media player which does not support the file type you are trying to play or you do not have the required codec for the video. There are countless video file types. Unfortunately, no one media player can play them all. In addition, each media player uses something called "codecs" in order to play a particular file type. Codec stands for compression/decompression. Audio and video files are very large in size, making them difficult to stream or download. Therefore, the file is compressed to a small size and then upload or download. However, in order to play them, you need to decompress them, hence, the compression/ decompression (ie codecs). Another problem is that there is no such thing as an universal codec. Every company has their own unique codec (eg. QuickTime, Real Player,...). What people have done is to bundle several popular codecs in to one package.

I recommend you try the free VLC media player. It is by far the best media player I use so far because it plays almost all file types. If you are unable to play it on VLC then you need to download and install a codec package. I recommend K Lite Codec Pack Full. Both of these programs can be found at (http://www.filehippo.com/popular/).

might be u dont have the codecinstalled that needed to play .......................download and install k-lite codec pack that comes for free if u search google u will find it.
it contains most of the codecs.
