Do you have proof of that?
So far, it sounds like they used a good old fashioned informant.

I guess you think the Constitution and freedom have been pretty bad for this country, because you sure are angry when liberal stand up for them.
Once again, see if you can get this into your painfully small brain: liberals support legal wiretaps, based on a warrant issued in accordance with law, specifically the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). Bush's position is that he wants the right to tap anybody for any reason with no legal restrictions.
This has been another in the ongoing series, accurate answers to factually challenged questions.

I am for it as long as it is not a fishing expedition. That would just be wasteful and really end up leading us to a bunch of dead ends. Most investigators tell you fishing expeditions rarely work and it is better to know why you are wiretapping someone instead of searching everything and see what comes up.

Libs would oppose sunny days if Bush and the GOP endorsed sunny days.
Perhaps they are "afraid" the NSA, CIA, NRO, FBI, et al, are gonna overhear them hooking up on some dope over the phone or might read their cyber-sex transcripts.
Like anyone CARES about their pathetic existence!?!?

"The plot was revealed when the planners tried to recruit a person who was a law enforcement informant, sources said."
and nothing here would have prevented them from obtaining legal wiretaps under the FISA court, how can you people be this dumb

Do you understand a distinction between wiretaps and illegal wiretaps. They had beyond probable cause to tap some phones on this one. Please stop being foolish. I am opposed to illegal wiretaps. The legal ones are fine.

Because they are afraid we will hear the plans to turn this country into a socialist haven. For some reason they think we haven't figured that out yet. That is the only plan the liberals have stuck with.
