Because its a little slower, and some APPLICATIONS and DRIVERS are not stable on it. The OS itself is pretty good, but everything else has to work too.

Most PC's are now coming with 1gig of memory standard. The thing is with window's XP you used to be able to run on 1gig of memory and not have any problems running most games (except for maybe higher end game/graphics) Windows Vista has a HUGE memory load consumption compared to XP, it requires a minimum of 512 MB to run, and if your PC comes with 1gig, thats already HALF your memory!

Also there's compatability issues that will surely leave with time as Vista will become the new OS platform for PC's, XP will become a thing of the past, and these issues will be minimal

precise click at this technique, pass to properties, and then compatibility mode. tell it to run in homestead windows XP mode. After 6 years of XP, maximum classes have been given stupid and that they checked to work out if the homestead windows version replaced into 5 (XP). once you put in Vista (homestead windows 6), those version checks failed even although the activity ought to nevertheless artwork.
