My question is to those who believe that the Second Amendment allows all person's the right to own and carry a gun WITHOUT restriction. Are you against those restrictions and exceptions that have been made in regards to the other amendments (restrictions on hate and obscene speech, exceptions to search and seizure, etc.)

I know there is only a small percentage of people who think there should not be ANY restrictions but I happen to know on of these crazies and I just was wondering what others would say.

It is hard to find someone who would want someone to buy a gun like it was buying a gallon of milk. People in the NRA support laws that help keep guns out the hands of criminals, but still allow law-abiding citizens to have them. Just incase you need help on this issue research what has happened in Florida when they allowed people to carry concealed weapons if they passed licensing requirements. Crime has gone down.

Have you ever heard anyone propose NO restrictions? Even the NRA has a proposal for gun control. You are asking a quesiton that applies to about .001% of Americans.
edit: Sorry then, I have no idea how to defend that position. I can't even play devil's advocate to that one.

The Amendment's mean nothing anymore. Haven't you been paying attention? The government is not freedom of anything anymore. The communist's got a really good hold before anyone knew it, and even tho you told the government no one did any thing. Who is willing to fight to get it back?.....Who?
