I might be a little old fashioned, but isn't that what the windows and mirrors are for....to look out of? If there are cars in front of you, and you check the rearview mirror and see cars behind you, and glance out either side window...traffic! What the heck more do you need to know?

There's something to that idea. I think eventually there will be a computer display on the dashboard of cars that shows all the blind spots.

In reality, I think it would be hazardous because you would be talking your eyes off the road ahead. But, that aside, the concept is great for those of us who drive small cars and can't see around the SUV in front of us. You're thinking, my friend....
