I replaced the battery, as the truck would not start. It just clicked when I tried. After the new battery, the truck did the same thing. Anyone have a suggestion? Is it the starter cellenoid?

Make SURE it's not in gear, and the parking brake is set.

Find an old screw driver you don't care about.

Make direct contact at both large posts on the starter solenoid. If it does nothing, you need a new starter.
If it turn the engine over, you need a new starter solenoid.

There are a few possibilities.

1. If the vehicle is an automatic check the neutral switch on the side of the gearbox.

2. Fords had a bad problem with voltage drop between the ignition switch and the starter solenoid, where a relay had to be fitted to solve the problem.

3. Starter solenoid, bridge the starter solenoid with power, (Where the ignition wire joins the soloniod), when the soloniod pulls in it should spin the starter, if it doesn't replace the solenoid or purchase a kit and repair it.

Most probably it's the starter and that would be a small problem. Bad news is the engine could've packed up.
