My sister (17) went to this party and messed around with this guy she barely knew. She took a test then went to the doctor and learned that she was pregnant. Then my friend (19) likes her but has always been too scared to ask her out and I recently told him to ask her out but he said he was too busy.
They're perfect for each other and we've all known each other for years. The baby's father is weird and wants her to move with him back to New York (from Texas) so he can finish college while still being with her and the baby.
Shes not really showing signs of actual being pregnant and started going to summer school (to see if she can finish high school by the winter). I want her to stay and our parents wouldn't be mad (they don't know). The only way she'll stay is if he asks her out! She likes him, she has told me before that she does.
So what should I do? Should I tell him that shes pregnant or what?

I know its her business and that i should stay out of it but i've been stuck in the middle between her and him for years.
by weird i meant he like kissed her the first time he met her! My sister told me that hes planning on becoming a doctor and she thinks that he might be too busy to be the dad. Shes really worried about getting into a relationship with the baby's father (hes 22 by the way). Last night she told me that if it had been my friend then she would be much happier since she'd be able to stay here with everyone and be able to finish high school as someone other then the pregnant girl.

Well, my parents have always told us that if we got pregnant (or with my brother if his girl friend got pregnant) then they'd help us through. My mom and dad are principles so they've seen this before. my mom has always loved kids and would be madder at my sister for having protected sex then having unprotected sex (yeah it sounds weird but shes kind of weird too). Then my dad might get mad but then he'd understand. Thats why i didn't say much about them

Let your sister do what she wants. I wouldnt tell him I think you should leave that up to your sister to decide. Tell your sister you want her to stay and talk to her about it. Good luck!

He should NOT ask her out & you should only tell him that she is pregnant so he may want to wait to see what happens.

The father is not weird to want her to move with him, he must like her & want to be a part of the babies life (that is the responsible thing for him to do, so he's not all bad), & it's good that he still wants to finish college (& make a life for himself & his child). It's selfish, immature, & insecure of your sister to want to stay only if your friend asks her out. Your friend does not need to be put in the middle of your sisters situation right now. Your sister & the baby's father are going to be going through a lot & have a lot of descisions to make, until everything is settled down & clear your friend should have no part in it. He could get himself into a big bubble of drama & could get his feelings hurt. Your sister needs to take this time to grow up, not be looking for a man to solve her problems - cuz that wont.

Well... I know you Are trying to help but I really think it's your sister the one who should let him know she is pregnant..... If she didn't want to be with the baby's father then why have unprotected sex & have a baby from him? But what is done is done....Just be Honest with this Guy & If this guy really likes her then he wouldnt mind being with her & being there for the baby....he is going to find out sooner or later.... But she has to decide if she wants to be with the baby's father or not..... Good Luck! Hope it works out for your sister.....

Maybe she should give it a go with the baby's father, for the sake of the baby. You should definately tell your friend that she's pregnant, if he sticks around then it shows he really cares for her and if not then he's not worth the bother. He's only going to find out, as you're his friend I'm sure it would be better coming from you or even better your sister.

Question: Why have you left out the part about the parents?

Tell your sister to tell him. It's messy, and it will only get more complicated if you start telling people. And your sister needs prenatal care, even if it's just planned parenthood.

Say "Your Crush is pregnant its time to move on" and then help him find a new crush that might actually turn into a girlfriend and not a "crush"

This is not up to you. If she isn't mature enough to tell him she is pregnant, you should stay out of it. It's a messy enough situation as it now stands.

You don't.
You are trying to be helpful, but your sister own her secret, it is not yours to share.
Your sister needs to understand the baby's father will be in her life forever, and he has rights.
