if bush is such an idiot and he's done a horrible job running the country and launched an "illegal" war in iraq, warrantless wiretaps, patriot act whatever. why hasnt this country been attacked again, and how did this country prevent countless terror attacks.
examples
planes blown up from england
fort dix terror plot
wall street terror plot
sears tower terror plot
and just today the jfk plot
he must be doing something right
maybe he realizes if we leave iraq we look weak and makes the terrorist think they beat us and come after our country again and again. any smart responses?

he is responsible for the security of this country and when a terror attack is prevented he is mainly responsible.
just like alot of people blame him for not responding to hurricane katrina fast enough.
if he takes the blame for katrina then he should be givin credit for stopping terror attacks

It is undeniable that the Middle Eastern mentality is far different than Western mentality. Here are a couple examples.
During the first Gulf War, aides to Saddam Hussein said he was a thoroughly beaten man. The U.S. had kicked his troops out of Kuwait, and he was certain the U.S. would have no trouble finishing the job in Iraq. He walked around his palaces like he was in a daze, mumbling to himself like a madman. They said he was on the brink of emotional collapse. Then, the most unexpected thing happened: Bush Sr. did not invade.
Saddam's aides said the transformation was almost immediate. He perked up, and started shouting that HE HAD BEATEN THE AMERICANS. In this Middle Eastern mentality, if he doesn't get trounced, he has won. In his mind, he had really won because he was still in power.
Every time Israel makes a concession, the Palestinians do not try to match their kindness and behave, they act like they forced Israel into giving them something. Inevitably, you can read how some terrorist organization like Hamas will immediately respond, "We must be beating the Israelis! Otherwise, they would not have given us anything. We must now fight even harder".
You see? Their mentality is quite... (I guess the word primitive would get me in trouble), so how about, "unique"?
If we leave Iraq, the terrorists will not just think we've gone soft on terrorism, they will have conclusive proof of it. They will find some way to break through our defenses, and they will come to finish the job 9-11 started.

A smart response to a lame question will be pretty tough, but we've prevented terrorist attacks before Bush and we'll prevent them after Bush.
The terrorists we've caught and plots we've stopped have had nothing to do with Bush, the Patriot Act, the Department of Homeland Security, or any other changes Bush had made to the government. In fact, only a small fraction of the prosecutions pertaining to the Department of Homeland Security have had anything to do with terrorism. And Alberto Gonzales is not willing to say how many terrorists the Patriot Act has stopped, because it hasn't stopped any.
The terrorists we have stopped are because of people in the FBI and law enforcement stopped them, they're just doing their jobs, unlike Bush, who's doing a photo op and defrauding the American People.

while McCain pronounced it, it wasn't genuine. issues have replaced, in case you haven't any longer observed. Even the chairman of the Fed pronounced the recession would be over this twelve months. (i don't be attentive to if i've got self belief that, regardless of the undeniable fact that it is definitely improving.) What McCain had to do became tax the fees paid via employers as earnings, then provide a tax credit for paying on your guy or woman coverage, which could no longer in all hazard be completed for that quantity. it would have extra desirable taxes mutually as reducing availability of coverage for the common American. I googled Obama tax wellbeing care to assist his wellbeing care plan and would desire to locate no longer something later then a three/sixteen checklist asserting he does no longer recommend the plan himself, yet he does no longer inevitably oppose it if Congress proposed it. in case you have some thing extra present day, please submit the source. Edit: ok, I examine your published article, some thing you interestingly did no longer do. the two that or you missed this paragraph: "Baucus says removing the tax smash altogether would reason harm, yet some obstacles would decrease waste interior the device. Obama's aides say he continues to be opposed, yet keen to think approximately any severe proposals from Congress."

I truly feel sorry for the younger generation that are now clearly victims of a renegade liberal press. Bush isnt the worst president, trust me. Carter has him trumped 5 ways from Sunday.
I lived through Carters gas lines, watched him give away the Panama Canal, watched him chicken out on helping Israel with Entebbe, watched him support France who was supporting Idi Amin, one of the worst murderous dictators of the 20th century.
Bush has a smokin hot economy, record wall street earnings, freed millions of Iraqis, crushed ALQ and we havent been attacked in 6 years running. Trust me, no one will ever pass Carter as the worst president ever.

The Communist didn't follow when we left Viet Nam nor will the terrorist step it up when we leave Iraq. The war money can be used to strengthen our border security.

impossible to say, al queda may be simply planning something big and has not attacked
and you can't say with any certainty that a different president would not have been equally effective at catching terrorist plots in the USA post 9/11
