I DO!! OFCOURSE I WANT TO PICK A BEST ANSWER. THEN THAT MEANS THAT U ONLY WASTED 2 POINTS, COZ U WASTE FIVE AND GAIN 3.... DUH! DOESNT ANYONE REMEMBER INTEGERS?

Some people tend to forget that they have open questions as they ask questions when they are bored and then they go out the next day and before they know it the expiration period has come and gone and it's in a vote. Or maybe they can't pick a best answer as they have a more then one that they would like to pick or maybe they don't feel as if they want to vote for a best answer as they might not like any of the answers.

Generally speaking, Polls and Surveys gets a lot of answers for their questions. That is because most questions posted on here are opinion: you can never be wrong!
Maybe they just get confused if they really like an answer, but it has 9 thumbs downs. Or maybe they just don't know, and they want the Community to pick for them.

I don't know, it seems like they would want to get their 3 points back, but to each his own, I guess. I have a friend who asks when she wants to know something. Then, she won't go on for a couple of days, and she doesn't vote for best answer on most of her questions. I guess different people just play it different ways.
