xrx 1200 is correct. If ramm, just turn it off, if hard drive, format it or osri. If you are trying to erase illegal activity,The format only removes pointers and they can still read your drive if they choose to.

Power the machine off if your talking about RAM. If your taking about the harddrive, you'll need to format the drive.

Reformat your hard drive.
go to run on your start menu and type in compmgmt.msc
Refromat the hard drive you want to wipe.
