Why do liberals report anyone that even slightly disagrees with them?

Isn't this the ultimate act of cowardliness? Liberals constantly say how America is really a fascist nazi regime and Bush is hitler, destroying our freedom of speech. Yet, I dont see any liberals being hauled off to prison for speaking out. Actually, I see liberal cowards, like Rosie O'Donnell and her Y!A followers, trying to silence anyone that debates them with facts, reason, and pure common sense. Anyone that doesn't become a sheep and agree with the liberal masses on Y!A quickly gets multiple violations for TWC....Thinking While Conservative. Will liberals not be satisfied until they destroy all opposing points of view in this country? Are they really looking to compromise on the big issues facing America today, or have they become almost militaristic in their take-no-prisoners, anti-conservative, anti-American mindset? It is a shame that they have sacrificed their so-called "progressive" ideals simply for the sake of additional power.

They are self destructive people who hate their personal lives ,and cannot accept that most of us are happy, and love the way our lives are going.They only open their big mouths to attack this system of happiness called America(WHY SHOULD ANYONE BE HAPPY WHEN MY LIFE SUCKS) because they know no one will lock them up here.They know our system would stop anyone who attempts to shut any of them from whining and having their tantrums, because most Americans would sacrifice their lives rather than abetting to the destruction of democracy.Yet they love what Chavez is doing in Venezuela (shutting down the news media),and what Castro is doing in Cuba (keeping the Cubans in a reign of terror). They would love a world where no one would dare disagree with them.Yet they would not move over there.I say to them please move. No?Why?Because they love to live in a Country that supports the highest degree of freedom and respect for the individual that has ever existed in the history of mankind,where they can insult people of greater value than they will ever have, with impunity.

To Nick F - I give a crap - because outright censorship due to political leanings go against the very thing the 1st Amendment protects, the amendment liberals cry out to protect their rights to let NAMBLA spew their filth, and the gay rights crowd rip on christian ideals, and so forth.

I had a post removed that simply asked people to specify what the 17th Amendment declared, how it affected us today, and why or why not Congress needs to review the need to have it removed.

I have seen anyone with a conservative view or independent thought get removed - and I have seen nothing in the question when I first answered on it that warranted it's removal. However - they get all these violation complaints from the morons that can't think beyond emotions and spewing liberal spats, and actually try looking at facts and written proofs.

Actually, it's not just liberals who do the reporting. After all, many liberals here, including myself, have been reported by conservatives. It runs both ways! We need to accept the fact that there are intolerance and pettiness on BOTH sides and stop trying to pin it all on one side or the other. By the way, I very seldom have reported anyone, even those with whom I disagree.

Facts are evil to Liberals, unless they support their viewpoint. Liberals are the Jello in the backbone of America. Liberals believe in "feelings", not "facts". It IS amazing how they go on about Freedom of speech, until a Conservative wants to say their point of view, then they get drowned out or cut off. But , Conservatives should have learned by now that you can't talk sense with a Lib, they only deal well with feelings. Facts are too inconvenient and limiting.

Because according to liberals you have to be a *hypocrite* for the sake of "political correctness" and those who are not "politically correct", are wrong. Their minds are so twisted that, according to them, diplomacy and "political correctness" are the only ways to live in peace.

As a democrat and a patriot, I find such behavior contemptible when it happens, and the silence of my party just as contemptible. That's why I speak up, now.

I believe in free speech (including for republican talk show hosts);
I believe in free expression (including for Christian fundamentalists);
I believe in equal rights (not special rights for special groups).

Fortunately, Yahoo!, despite rumors to the contrary, does not suspend people for political reasons. The complaints to the contrary (amazing how I see them on both sides of the political aisle) that they are persecuted by the other side and get suspended because Yahoo! is taking sides are similar to what you hear prisoners say when asked, "Did you really do the crime?"

OF COURSE they didn't. No one commits breaches of Yahoo! rules! It's all a conspiracy of the other side.

Yahoo! Employees must laugh their heads off when they aren't crying.

NOW, you didn't say that you got suspended, just that liberals report people that disagree with them, but the point should be made to avoid another run of "I got suspended by (fill in the political party).

We (Democrats) made a mistake by remaining silent while socialists took over the party. We are now led by socialists who don't mind being seditious. They have forgotten how to disagree, dissent, and protest in patriotic ways.

I allowed this with my silence. Thousands of us allowed it by leaving the party and claiming that "It left us".

Nonsense. We've chosen this. As patriots I wish people would take up the banner of the democrat again and vote for the least seditious, most patriotic democrat they can find in every office, the ones who are NOT socialists, but truly want what is best for our country within the values and ethics we hold dear.

Liberals simply cannot stand for people to have any opinions contrary to theirs. They went absolutely bonkers when Rush Limbaugh started to gain popularty in the late 1980s/early 1990s. How DARE someone have a national radio program and not use it to push the leftwing agenda!? Same thing happened after Fox News.
