Paper plates? That's a bit rich! I thought kitchen paper towel roll was invented for that purpose - along with eating directly from the jar, package, etc., of course!

If I have paper plates in the house I will use them for sandwiches (includes hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ, etc), pizza, finger foods, and some desserts. For everything else a regular plate will do.

A few years ago my wife, stepdaughter and i decided that christmas dinner etc was alot of hard work so, just for one year we had buffet food, paper plates plastic knives and forks and spoons and at the end of the day everything went into a bin liner. It was great, no hassle, no sweating over a hot stove and time just to enjoy the day and each others company,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I have to admit. When the dishwasher broke down we ate off paper plates and plastic cups til it was fixed.

No. I never use paper plates. And for my parties, we use china.

Yes I buy paper plates for the summer... so I don't have to do dishes...
