Why is it that some liberals will do anything to defend prisoners on death row, but not innocent aboted babies

It makes no sense to me. I'm against the death penalty, but how can someone defend a criminal who murdered someone over a innocent helpless child that wants nothing more than to have a chance in this world? Does this make sense to anyone!? To me it seems that democrats would rather protect the guilty than the innocent. I just don't understand the logic here...

Mr. Magoo, why don't you answer the question at hand? First of all I don't believe the war is a just war, and I am not for it, but I don't think anyone is in favor of soldiers dying. People are in favor of giving woman the option to kill their child. People are in favor of, for whatever reasons, winning in Iraq...They'd rather win in Iraq with no deaths, so what you're saying makes no sense. And just answer the question!

I'm a democrat, but I understand both sides.
One side wants to defend the young men and women who find themselves facing impending pregnancy and all the of the hardship that will bring to them. They see abortion as a legitimate way to avoid that and the poverty that it often results in for such young couples. The potential of the adult is more important than the potential of the unborn.
The other sided sees human life as inherently valuable until they show they themselves think of it as a waste by killing others. They see the inherent potential of the unborn as more important than the potential of an adult that has proven it is not important to themselves.

The fetus has no future until it acquires one by effort. A prisoner has all the tools, and just needs redirecting.

A fetus has potential for great good, while a murderer who has earned the death penalty is corrupted beyond saving and earned, by their choices, the penalty they knew came with the crime.

My wife and I have been back and forth on this (in a loving way, as we have long come to terms with political or any other differences) for many years.

We've never found it useful to downplay the "other side's" arguments. It just makes us look foolish.

Twisted logic is amazing. If I am involved in an accident that is my fault and a pregnant woman is killed, I can be charged with "2"( two ) counts of manslaughter. How can it be 2 human beings sometimes and 1 person and a tissue mass at others. Abortion stills a beating heart. Abortion is murder. How would Mr Magoo look at it if he had been aborted ( whoa ! - he wouldn't be here ). A country must be defended militarily and economically if it is survive. The liberals want to kill the innocent babies and leave the country defenseless. It looks like they are about to get what they want - they will be among the first to cry. Your question just goes to show that a lot of liberals will go to extreme ends to defend the life of an individual that has not right to be in society ( in my personal opinion there should be a death penalty ). But yet those same liberals want the " convenience " of using an act of murder to rid themselves of the responsibility of bringing into this world a human being. Every day 3,562 babies are murdered. Since 1973 there have been 42,900,000 babies murdered. Damn - starts to sound like something the NAZIS would do. There is no logic to how the liberals want to live. By and large they are very self centered and don't care about what they do to or what happens to others.

You clearly have no knowledge about our "judicial system." Why don't you type in wrongful convictions, and read a few TRUE HORROR stories?

An Innocent man that spent 26 years in prison for a crime he did not commit was recently released from prison due to being cleared by DNA. This man made the "200"th Innocent person released so far in our country.

Many prosecutors will go to any length to get a "conviction" on their record, even shattering a man' life. Most go on to be rewarded with a promotion.

There has been cases were they have fed "information" to a jail house snitch!

This deplorable behavior by our judicial system is neither Democrat, nor Republican issue. My God, these People NOTa Fetus are citizens of the United States of America, this is not suppose to happen in our great country, and the irony is their mother's "chose" to give birth to them. . .

Would you be able to even phantom the agony and terror this man went through?

Wrongful convictions go beyond DNA evidence-prosecutor misconduct, erroneous eyewitness testimony, fabricated evidence, jail house snitches, perjury just for starters. . .

I could right pages on this subject "I have" researched. You need to do your homework before spouting off about a subject you have no knowledge about.

We only want to protect the Prisoners that have been falsely accused because they are already a human being. A fetus just started is only some glob that has no feeling, just a nothing at the time. It knows nothing, it hasn't formed, it is as I said just one big glob of human waste. Since your so against this glob left to form a human, just like I have ask over and over , WHAT HAPPENS TO THE BABIES IN YOUR CONDOMS OR WHEN YOU MASTURBATE. First of all, I know I'm not a guy but I'm gonna answer anyways. It really depends on the type of guy. But yeah a lot of guys like innocent girls, and some like dumb girls who pretend the have a brain of a 5 yr old. But most guys aren't usually attracted to the type of girl who "pretends" to be dumb and innocent for an actual relationship since I could understand that they would easily get bored with that kind of girl since she acts like she doesn't know anything. And the guys ur talking about probably only give her that kind of attention when she's around becuz they know they can easily use her and then dump her. Sooo yeah

There is NO connections between the two issues...none.

Whether a woman wants to give birth is a decision that only she can make. It is nobody elses business. It is HER body and HERS alone. A woman CANNOT be FORCED to give birth....period.

I am against the death penalty because it is state sanctioned murder - no different from the street thug who shoots somebody in a drive-by. No one has the right to take anothers life.

First thing abortion is a women's right to choose. Someone convicted of a crime has the right to appeal his/her convictions to correct any errors in said conviction. This has nothing to do with what political part you belong to.
The problem with the abortion issue is religions are trying to force there views in to this matter. I do not believe in late term abortion, but I do believe that abortion is a personal issue that a women must make on her own, and should be available legally. What give us the right to tell a women she can't have an abortion?
