Have you read Barack Obama's books? He is EXACTLY what this country needs - someone who isn't power mad and won't embarrass us to the rest of the world.

I am not sure yet, but I do know it will NEVER be a Republican, no matter how good his spiel is. I think we found out the difference between that and the actions of Republicans. Typical corporate welfare, steal from the poor, and everyone else is un-American. Maybe that is why George Bush is building 600 concentration camps across the US. He says they are for illegals, but 600! I don't think so! Try the white house website!
I will probably go with whoever the person it is who wins the Democrat Party nomination. I am seeing Hillary tomorrow here in NH!
I did like Obama but he is so new and the more I find out about him the less I like him!

I relate to Ron Paul because I am an American that really believes America can work as designed. I relate to him because he comes from the people and is not attached to any special interests.
I will vote for Ron Paul because I want the free country I was promised at birth by our founding fathers.
I also relate to Ron Paul because he is an honest and principled man who is not in it for the power.
And he's not just "saying" it, there are numerous sources for you to see for yourself exactly how he has lived his life and worked for the American people according to principle. You will also find that he is running because he was called to run by many many ordinary people that are desperate to turn our country around. He is answering that call, just as he always has as congressman.
I understand many politic ans say a lot of things, but research quickly shows they are lying. If you research Ron Paul, you see consistency in his personal and political life, period. He is the kind of leader Americans only thought they have been voting for.
This might sound cliche', but I sincerely believe the only reason that an American would NOT vote for him is if they simply aren't informed about him.
BTW, I do agree that Gravel and Kucinich are also great men on the democratic side. Personally, I would like to see one of them run WITH Ron Paul.

I relate to my candidate, Mike Gravel, because he is just as frustrated and pissed off about our situation as I am. When I saw him getting angry at the first Democratic debate, I couldnt have been happier! Someone up there was finally speaking for me!
Gravel's got balls, and hes honest. He tells the truth without any sugar-coating. I dont know how well thats going to fly in the elections, but I'm going to help him all I can. Soon I'll be moving to Washington DC and volunteering to help the campaign.

The one I can most relate too is Fred Thompson. One reason is, he is not a career politician and he thinks like I do. He has a lot of common sense and he is much like what I would expect our founding fathers were like. No double speak from this guy, he lays it out plain and simple. That's what Americans are looking for.

I would like a presidential candidate who is a conservationist instead of a conservative, and one who sincerely works towards helping the environment by protecting it from people.

Dennis Kucinich because he is against unjust wars (read Iraq), the proliferation of nuclear weapons in all countries including the U.S., and an advocate for the economic interests of the working and middle class.

Yes, I think that Mike Gravel is 100% perfect as a candidate. He stands for everything I believe in, 100%. Check out these two links: *sm*

Ron Paul because he sees the wrong direction our country is going in, and he gives part of his paycheck back to the U.S. Treasury every year.
John Edwards because he grew up the son of a poor laborer.
